Iblis is the father of all jinn - ইবলিস সকল জ্বীনদের পিতা
This subject is new to many. Again, many people already know about this subject.
The first thing that seemed surprising to me was when I first found out. Then I have discussed below what I found to be happening in this regard.
We know that Abul Jinnah Samum is the father of the jinn. Basically it is not a name, it is Sifat (fault, virtue) such as, Abul = father, Jinnat = jinn, Samum = Lu is caused by fire. That is, Lu is the father of the jinn created by fire. This does not refer to any specific person by Abul Jinnah Samum.
Now the question is who is the father of the jinn?
Answer: Iblis is the father of all jinn.
This Iblis is also called Aduwallah or the enemy of Allah.
The original father of Iblis jinn has some logical documents on this subject: -
Verse 50 of Surah Kahf
وإذ قلنا للملائكة اسجدوا لآدم فسجدوا إلا إبليس كان من الجن ففسق عن أمر ربه أفتتخذونه وذريته أولياء من دوني وهم لكم عدو بئس للظالمين بدل
Meaning: When I said to the angels: Prostrate yourselves before Adam, they all prostrated except Iblis. He was one of the jinn. He disobeyed the command of his Lord. So do you take him and his offspring as friends instead of me? But they are your enemies. This is an evil recompense for the wrongdoers.
Note: Are you taking him and his descendants as friends instead of me?
This time let's talk about Khasiyat
The characteristic of the jinn is like Iblis, just as Iblis was arrogant and the jinn also have this characteristic of arrogance.
Verse 7 of Surah Jinn
وَأَنَّهُ كَانَ رِجَالٌ مِنَ الْإِنْسِ يَعُوذُونَ بِرِجَالٍ مِنَ الْجِنِّ فَزَادُوهُمْ رَهَقً
Meaning: And surely some people took refuge in some jinn, so they increased their arrogance.
Note: - The 1st verse proves that all the jinn are the descendants of Iblis, just as human beings are the descendants of Adam (AS).
Adam (AS) has been divided into different tribes, such as: - Quraish, Thamud, Qarni, Bhuiyan, Chowdhury, etc. But the lineage is Adam (AS) e. Just like Iblis, Iblis is the first, then all the jinns and jinns of his descendants are divided into different castes or tribes. Such as: - Khabis, Olhan, Khanzab, Ifrit, Maridb, Amir, Arwah etc.
By verse 2 it is understood that just as the father is in his disposition or character in the child, so is the disposition of Iblis in his offspring. Exactly the descendants of Adam (pbuh) mean that we have the nature of Adam (pbuh), that is uncontrollable. (Sahih Muslim)
Simply put, you are more angry, why am I a little less angry? The reason is that you are not of my tribe, I am not of your tribe. But one thing we both have in common is the lack of control, which was in Adam (pbuh). But when I was doing it, we were not in control. The same is true of the descendants of Iblis, the arrogance that comes from Iblis.
Besides, in Surah Araf, who is Satan Allah?
He said, "I am better than you who created me from fire and created me from clay."
He said, ‘I am better than him. You created me from fire, and created him from clay.
You will see in the above verse that Satan is directly comparing himself with Adam. Usually the origin of creation is always dragged to compare the last element of creation. Here Iblis goes on to compare the basic elements of creation.
And if Iblis had a father or a mother or if he had an original father, then it must have been described in the Qur'an and Hadith, but it did not happen.
Now let's go straight to the document,
In his Tafseer Ibn Kathir, in the Tafseer of verse 12 of Surah A'raf, Imam Ibn Kathir (R) brought a hadith from Sahih Muslim and said:
The angels are made of light, Iblis is made of fire, Adam is made of clay.
He goes on to describe the original source of creation and quotes Iblis. It is understood that he agrees that Iblis is the first of the jinn.
In the Tafsir Durre Mansur Kitab, Imam Abu Ashayekh (R) and Abu Saleh (R) have imitated and said exactly the same thing.
In Tafseer, far away in Mansur, Imam Ibn Jarir said: Iblis is the origin of the jinn, just as Adam (AS) is the origin of man.
Imam Ibn Jarir (may Allah be pleased with him) said: Iblis is the father of the jinn as Adam (peace be upon him) is the father of man.
Explaining verse 50 of Surah Al-Kahf, Ibn Zayd (may Allah be pleased with him) said in his commentary on Tabari that he (Iblis) is the father of jinn like Adam (peace be upon him) is the father of man.
In Fath al-Bari, Badaul Khalq's paragraph on the jinn states that their (jinn) origin must have been Iblis. And those among them (the jinn) who are disobedient are called Satan. And the devil is the devil.
Fathul Bari is called in Kitabul Ambia. At one point in the marriage of Abel Cain, Hazrat Askalani (RA) said that Iblis, the father of all jinn.
In the book Al Bidaya wan Nihaya, Hasan Basri (R) also said that Iblis was not an angel even for a moment, he was the original jinn like Adam (AS) the original man.
Imam Ibn Taymiyyah has stated in his fatwa that Iblis is the father of all jinn.
(Majmoo Fatwa, pp. 235 and 346)
On the other hand, some people claim that Iblis was taken up to heaven by the angels as a child, while the jinn were being expelled from the earth.
But Iblis is the one who drives the jinn from the land with the angels under his leadership and since then his arrogance has increased.
(Tafsir of Tafsir Tabari Surah Bakbara, verse 30, and the book of Jalaluddin Suyuti (R) The Wonderful History of the Jinn Nation)
It took me about 3 weeks to write this topic
